About Us
Nordik was created from an idea to combine fashion and function. Established in 2018, Nordik founder and snowboard enthusiast, saw a need to bring more fashionable options as well as forward thinking design and technology to the eyewear market, starting with Goggles and Sport Eyewear. A 15-year veteran in the snow goggle world, she decided to embrace her entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge of lens technology and make a change in the eyewear market. Seeing the need for both function and fashion, she saw that there was a need for more comfortable goggles for continuous wear, as well as a need for interchangeable lenses that were easy to change out. She wanted lenses that could adapt to the ever-changing conditions on the mountain or on the road, avoiding fogging and bright or dark conditions, as well as looking good and having the versatility to coordinate with whatever the athlete was wearing. Tested in extremely cold temperatures and high-altitude areas, the simple anti-fog lens can no longer meet the needs of athletes. Athletes are looking for a highly functional piece of eyewear that can make them feel fashionable and confident on and off the mountain, road, or field, and with her vision and passion for quality and technology this is now in reach. This passion is what gave birth to the Nordik Eyewear brand, intended to design, and develop eyewear with fashion and function to meet the needs of the most passionate athlete.
